Hi everybody,
Hoping to get a bit of advice here. Over the past week my car Q5 intermittently goes into limp mode after a driver fault message appears on the display. When I turn off the car and restart, the car drives normally. Took car in for service and oil change (as due) explained issue, the garage run diagnostic scan, (turbo fault codes were highlighted) and added some cataclean. The next day I took the car on a long motorway journey and the warning sign appeared 6 times in total there and back, alternating with the yellow engine sign. I pulled over, waited several minutes then would be able to drive again though later on into the journey the lights would come on again forcing me to pull over again.
The two dashboard lights were both alternating and appearing at different times firstly (drive system fault: please contact workshop) then secondly (engine management light).
I’m not really mechanically minded so not really unsure what’s happening but car has only done 43k and is a 2019 model.
I bought an extended warranty from the dealer when I bought the car (not an Audi dealer) but not sure if this type of issue would be covered . Your help and advice is appreciated.
