Hi

I was wondering about the difference between Milano leather design package on seats and the Fine Nappa leather design package. What is the difference?

The Fine Nappa is the cheaper option in Namibia on the 2.0 Tdi. Not by much, but it might make other options available if I can cut on some essentials.

I am going for the brown leather interior, as shown in the Q5 booklet with the black headlining. I have looked around, but cant find any other info on the different leather packages.

Any chances for some photos perhaps if possible?

I can answer this Q for you.

Milano is a dimpled leather where as Nappa is smooth finish. I had a look at both today. Both good quality leather. Very little in it other than cost.

I thought I would prefer the Nappa but to be honest I think I'll stick with the Milano and save the money.

After testing the q5 with milano leather the nappa was a sure choice, have the nappa in my a4 at the moment and there was a big difference between the 2.

Thanks for the replies.

I have the Milano in my B7 A4 2.0 Tdi, and after nearly 5 years driving it, the leather is still in tip top condition. I never used any treatment or anything on them, just rubbed off with a damp cloth whenever I cleaned on the inside.

I have come to learn that the only way I can get the cinnamon brown interior is with Fine Nappa, so I will have to go that route. Reckon I would be able to expect the same durability from Fine Nappa?
