Hi Josh,
Ordered on 6th feb with sports sus as standard when new model was released emailed dealer asking question wether it would still come with sports and was told yes.went and saw car yesterday asked to see service book so I could check spec codes in manual and that's when I found out it had standard fitted, the look on the dealers face was a classic the colour was draining quicker than anything.awaiting a phone call monday from dealer and audi uk to see how this balls up is gonna be sorted!!

I guess all the codes for the fitted options are in the service book then Rich?

Are they in the same format as the brochure e.g. 3F1 Collapsible Spare Wheel?

Cheers,

Kev
There certainly are, 1BA is the code for standard suspension(it doesnt give you this code in book).

this website may help anyone wanting to check:-

That is a terrible customer service. I bet you're really annoyed.

I went into a couple of different dealers after the change over time and the sales teams didn't have a clue about the suspension change. I bet there are plenty of people out there driving cars not at the spec they've ordered.......which is appalling!

Audi UK really needs to get a grip of these dealers!

Funnily enough when I called my dealer to enquire about the option she said "it's standard" and when I'd put her right (courtesy of this website), she spent the rest of the day ringing around customers informing them of the situation, you can only say it is bad form from Audi and there dealerships not communicating with each other

I'm pretty certain that Audi UK did actually issue a bulletin with the MY2011 specification changes on it. Trouble is that it is oh so easy to fire these things around but there is little guarantee that staff have even read it let alone understand it.

We had exactly these issues where I work and the management now insist that you sign to say you have read and understand all important documents and updates.

They did issue one. It was on here. I printed it out and handed it to my Dealer about a week or so later who claimed they hadn't got it yet
.

When I got my first RRS the dealer handover took about an hour plus whilst he showed me how everything worked. I wonder how long the Q5 one will take
