2ltr or 3 ltr not that it matters but servicing is more often on the 3ltr dont know which way round but they have a service 1 and service 2 one being check and oil change; some cars of this generations wont come with a service history old style i.e. digital service history deal can print out. i would save the ÂŁ1K and get the higher mileage as better spec. plus tell them your looking at another and bring them down another ÂŁ500 should be easy. I pretty much always buy high mileage as the wife only does the schools runs and i sometime use it, hence less than 5K miles per year which then brings down the mileage to average when we come to resale. Having all the stamps so to speak would be a nice touch, as its coming out of warranty dont be scarred if they did some warranty claims not unusual, my 1st Q5 had a ÂŁ9K new gearbox 3 months old; then in my opinion the dealer to my advantage to the mick out of the owner and did a major service every time it was in which is about every 6K miles on the 3ltr. another tip is depending on where you get your oil ASDA sell OEM/OA Audio oil 4Ltrs for about ÂŁ32 quite often this is mega cheap! retailers are ÂŁ50 and dealer is ÂŁ80. Thats how savvy i am. Also depending on savvy ness i hate paying ÂŁ200-ÂŁ300 for a tyre, Look at part worn since your low mileage...cost of a nearly new OA Tyre is about ÂŁ80-ÂŁ100 then ÂŁ20 fitting. voila money saved. Upgrading/updating the SAT-NAV is a youtube video and available on the A5 forum with instructions or pay about ÂŁ80 for someone to send you a couple of SD cards. Again this would be ÂŁ150-ÂŁ300 from dealer. Remember your not cheap your saving the money to spend on the family is my saying...
