Hello,

Very pleased, I've just bought but not a Q5...or an Audi (...don't flame me!!!!) Went for an X5 sport in the end with a few tasty options, thrid row seating became very important. Some great deals around on SUV's right now (...wonder why!) Going to hang around though can't wait to see the pics coming in of the new Q5's a great looking car and great features, just not for me this time

Model I have gone for was previosuly out of my reeach. However less mileage now (PCP for me) and dealer discounts have helped greatly.

My spec from stock is as below:-

3.0D Msport
Third Row Seating (v expensive IMO but I like it)
20 inch alloys
Media Pack
Heated Seats
Xenons
Titanium Silver
Black Leather
Paint Protection
Ipod Interface
For the recocord interior brushed Aluminium, window surrounds brushed Alu, roof rails high gloss shadowline.

I got 10% of list and a great trade in on my current 520D plus quite a few 'lifestyle' accessories like roof bars (BMW pair) and bike racks(2). All should be available to me later this week but most likely early next, needs to be Sep for dealer (me too!!) Can't wait, will post a couple of pics...no booing

Just need a call from the dealer tomorrow to hopefully 'pick' my 58 plate, goign to try and get the last 3 alphas to tie up with family initials.

Really pleased with the way it looks/handles/size & seat flexibility/technology etc. Msport X5's do look much better in the metal than the pics, the wheel arches and wheels look huge. Also my first BM with Angel eye Xenons, sweet.

No bad chester you must be pleased, the wheels are nice

IMHO I think BMW have alot to do with the stylling with the X5 and the X3. It still has this brick shape and the back of the car is not that pleasent to look at. I think the Q5 is quite ahead in this aspect but then again the X5 is a bigger car generally.
Still I have not seen anythink that can make me budge.
