On the way to work yesterday morning something bounced across the slow and middle lanes and hit the NSF wheel of my Q5 whilst I was doing 70 in the fast lane.

As soon as it had passed I felt that something was slightly wrong, and a couple of seconds after that it said "ESP Fault" on the dash. Anyway, cutting a long story short it got recovered to my dealer and whatever it was has bent the tracking arm, taken chunks out of front and rear lower suspension struts (or whatever they are), taken a chunk out of the wheel, punched through the "plastic" cover on the NS and apparently cut the floor pan.....not quite sure whether dealer is gonna do everything yet or whether it's going to go to an Audi repair centre.

Hopefully will all go through the insurance.

Any advice or recounts of similar experiences and the outcomes would be greatly appreciated, as long as they aren't too scary :).
