Hi everyone,

Seen your forum recommended by one of the Audi-sport forum members.

Collecting my moonlight blue SQ5 on Thursday morning at 10am... 4 more sleeps!

A wee bit about me:

I'm a petrol head living between Edinburgh and Glasgow that has been forced in to diesels due to having company cars. Was starved of decent power until I got my first Audi, a little A3 Sportback TDI 170 Sport... Almost back to my hot hatch days! I then swapped jobs and was allowed a coupe, ended up with a A5 Coupe 177 TDI Black Edition Quattro... Beautiful car but a tad slow... So when all the other guys got the opportunity to have BMW X5's I ceased an opportunity to ask for something different, drove the SQ5 and ordered it straight away!

Sorry for war and peace but cannot wait to get it...

Looking forward to chatting to you guys!

Cheers,

Burnsy

Hi,I'm not far away just over the bridge in Fife, take it as its a company car the spec will be a bit bare?
Not many around Edinburgh,I travel in every day and sometimes see the odd one.
I sold my evoque to a lady from bathgate, must be the place for petrol heads!

Welcome Burnsy. Nice to have you in the forum.

Hi Vinny, budget didn't push to the ÂŁ51k that Audi wanted for a new one that was fully loaded - Pano Sunroof, 21's, B&O, Tech Pack High, Flat Bottom Steering Wheel, Elec Boot etc... But I managed to get an ex demo in moonlight blue, with tech pack high. I'm gutted that I'm giving up the B&O from my A5 Black Edition though...

I suppose I am lucky that the company allow the SQ5 at all!

Ps. How h3llish was that bridge today!! I'm a member at Aberdour Golf Club and I had a tee off booked for 13:50, picked my bro up in Harthill at 12.15 and ended up stuck with the handbrake on until 3pm... That was when I got off at the S.Queensferry turn off before the bridge!

Its a wonder you didn't see my Mrs in our white SQ coming back from Livingston after me telling her not to go due to bridge works, maybe she thought I was kidding! Took her nearly 3 hrs.
I am a member of Canmore in dunfermline but always fancied Aberdour but too many oap's I hear.
I wouldn't worry about the b&o the basic one is still excellent and I personally can't see how the upgrade can be worth the premium they ask.
Hope to see you around,I saw a blue one coming over bridge heading south today around 4:15,was it you?
