Ive got the 175 DCI and im gobsmacked at how quick the thing heats up. It gives off heat quicker than my petrol motor !!

Which is odd for a diesel. Is there some extra thing built in as the engine cant get hot that quick when its frosty outside.

The water heater pipe work is routed around a chamber with a thermostate valve at the exhaust, this is why the car heats up quickly, dont be alarmed both units are seperate, if I find the pictures i will post.

Bit like a Lada Niva 30 seconds at minus 6c heat coming out...
