I'm over the moon
Picked up my car today, everything I could have asked for, shame the wife could not be there - she was stuck in France due to the volcano erupting!

To let you all know, the car came with the roof cross rails as standard
No Ipod and MP3 leads - apparently they are out of stock and will be sent on later

More importantly - Audi have said that the whole years allocation of Q5's has been met and no dealer can place an order for the rest of the year - (I am only repeating what the salesman said)

Excellent - I am picking mine up a week tomorrow - will look somewhat similar (S-line, Daytona, RS wheels).

Bit disconcerted about the ipod lead issue - I thought the whole thing was a proper Audi iPod interface, hardwired into the car - not something you had to fit yourself?

Give us an update once you have got a few miles in !

The ipod system is all integrated and really easy to control - its simply that there is a socket in your glove box that needs a short lead to connect your ipod - simple plug and play...

It is a great system...

Looks great.
I hope mine will look similar in Lava grey (almost black) due first week of June.
S Line spec, S tronic, Pan roof, Heated seats, cruise, darkened windows, light pack.
However, I have slipped up not ordering the tow bar.
PS Anyone got any info where I can get an after market tow bar fitted and software sorted out on the car.
Will post pics when it arrives.

Yep, it sure does
The colour is truely awesome, black sometimes, purple, deep blue and even turquoise depending on the light

Robp, out of interest for those who have recently ordered, when did you order - I pick up on Saturday, making 21 weeks exactly in total?

So its been almost 18 weeks !! About the same as you I guess

Saw mine at the dealers yesterday. She is beautiful - all to spec and looks great. Will pick up on 8th May provisionally but if I can get her next week would be great. Can't wait ..................

Well it is here at last. Pretty chuffed with it, but I wish I had specified 2 things;

Electric memory seats and park assist plus. 1 foot height difference between me and the other half means we are forever messing with the seat adjusters - can't think why I didn't specify it ??

I thought park assist plus was the expensive camera version, but reading the manual realised it would have been handy to have just the front sensors and the proximity diagram?

Only getting 31mpg (170 diesel with S-tronic), but to be fair it hasn't done 100 miles yet, so hoping for an improvement?

I would post a picture - but the attachment manager is saying that I have used 423kb of my 500k global upload quota - anyone care to explain that to a computer idiot - I haven't posted any pictures on this forum
