My experience with Glasgow Audi is mixed. They rarely returned calls when I made an enquiry about a Q5 and I got a feeling that if they didn't have a car in stock and had to source an approved car they couldn't be bothered. Also messed me around with a car they had that I wanted to test drive but in their wisdom had decided to loan to the Glasgow Herald. They gave me a time and date to test drive and then called the next day and AFTER I arranged a baby sitter to say that I couldn't have a test drive for 3 days. I explained this but they didn't show any empathy at all. When I decided that it would be rude to cancel my babysitter at short notice (take not Glasgow Audi) and went in to look at Q5's I found the car was actually sitting there anyway? I asked to test it and once again was told no because the Glasgow Herald were getting it? Nice way to sell a car and make a customer feel like they come 2nd.
I also found that when discussing a new one, I knew more about the options available than the salesperson (bench seat plus etc) and that the trade in offered was lower than in England with an over inflated depreciation prediction figure offered to try and scare me into buying the infamous Glasgow Herald car. I'm not the only person that I have spoken to with an Audi to say that the sales team there are terrible. Unfortunately, I found this with Blackpool Audi and Manchester too when making enquiries so they are not the only one. If you are too busy and can't be bothered then leave the business or ask for more staff.

On a plus note (having had Audi's before), the service department have always been great with me so thumbs up on this.

I have had issues myself in ordering a Q5 but Edinburgh Audi have gone well beyond the call of duty to put things right.

My wife had bought the demo Q5 S line plus Glasgow Audi had on the forecourt, part of the deal was that the car did not go over 5000 miles and it was removed from the demo fleet, however the sales manger was still using it. Imagine our dismay when I rock up today with the insurance details only to find out that the mileage was almost 6,000 miles and the car had been the Q5 hack for all and sundry to run the tyres off during the dealership's Q Event!!! John the young salesman who was dealing with me in the absence of our salesman tried hard to rescue the deal, however I was thoroughly hacked off that the sales manager who was using the car or the business manager couldn't be bothered getting off their backsides to offer an apology or explanation as to why they had failed to keep their end of the deal!!

This is the third time I have tried to buy an Audi from this dealership and every time I have ended up buying in England as the service we have received has been haphazard at best!!!

Anyway brand new Q5 S line plus ordered from Kent, arrives Monday and for only £500 more than Glasgow were taking for their demo.

I found nobody could be bothered getting off their arses to come and take my money every time I went in for a look at glasgow audi, ended up buying from a broker and first time I meet the dealer will be the day I collect my car.
Dont need to pay 10% more for a cup of coffee and some patronising small talk from a salesman who knows less about the car I'm buying than me!
