Went to start this morning and the battery is as flat as the proverbial. No idea why - nothing left on overnight and the car is used daily. Worst of all as the car thinks the ignition is on the key will not release so I will have to wait with the car until Audi arrive. Anybody else had this happen and any theories?

Did you leave the boot or one of the doors slightly open? ~ an interior light on over night will pretty much suck the battery down??

No, like I said everything was off when it was parked up last night. Will post when I get Audi assistance here with their verdict

One option I would like to have turn on was the battery level check.
I am assuming that for the regeneration system to work it has to maintain the battery at less than full charge. Though it is a large battery.

Has happened to me once - a few days after delivery. Put it down to unfamiliarity with all the controls so poss leaving something on/open. Headlights??

Never happened since so maybe just an aberration.

Don't think you can leave the interior light or radio on as the car should shut down the lights and radio automatically after a set time.

Agreed Bill - my best guess was a door not properly closed or similar. Sadly will never know.
