Afternoon all

Quick question, and apologies if this has been previously asked/answered, but my car has been sat for 10 days and after driving it the last twice I've noticed that a fan in engine bay is still running for some time after the car has stopped/been locked??

This right? May just be that this is my first diesel and they al do it?

Thanks

Mine did it too but found out it was part if the diesel particulate filter sequence! Normal apparently.

That is normal and like was said is the particule filter sequence. When you got that, it's a sign that the car need to do some km/miles to clean the filter well.

You might notice a burning rubber smell at the same time, it's the DPF doing its stuff and nothing to worry about.
