Last week I ordered my Q5 from my local Audi dealer, unfortunately I forgot to specify a couple of factory options, within 3 working days I telephoned my dealer to request that they be added to my original order. I have been told now that my order has been placed with the factory it is not possible.

I cannot believe that this can be the case given that my order was placed so recently, and the build date is not until April. Does any one know if the dealer is correct or simply cannot be bothered to change the order for just ?500 worth of additional extras

Hi Alan, if you only placed it last week I can't believe it has been confirmed by the factory yet , so should be able to be added to.Try contacting Audi U.K. via the website either by e-mail or I suggest by phone, I have found them to be very helpful when questioned.

Thanks for the advice, I was just about to contact Audi UK as suggested, but my dealer has rang me back and said that they have now been able to get the extras added to my order.

I am not sure exactly why they can now, but just happy that they have been added - thanks again for the advice.
