Driving in France.

I've driven in France before, but always had to use those stick on deflectors for the headlights.

But they are rubbish. Last time I did it, one fell off before I'd left the car park.

I have heard that you can switch the lights using the MMI. Is this possible? I did also hear that here used to be a physical switch on some Audis that would allow you to do this - so if it's not the MMI, is there a switch?

Also, can you change the dash display to read KM/H instead of MP/H

Car is a 2014 (14 plate) S Line Plus.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure about a 14 plate but certainly on my 65 plate you could do both. IIRC, light setting under car menu and speed units under MMI set up ..................
On my old 13 plate, I can change both via MMI. Easy to do. Read the manual or pop in to your nearest Audi dealer.
Thanks - I managed to find how to change the headlights. Though I never got as far as checking them out to see what they did.

I couldn't find anything to show Km/h though, so I guess I'll have to check out if it's possible.
I found this video for a Q7 - so I might give it a try this weekend.

That is exactly how to do it ....................

Didn't get time to look into it this weekend.

Wife too busy trying to sort of the fact that someone's driven into our car.
So, I went to see where I was going to stick my magnetic GB sticker only to find that it turns out the boot lid isn't magnetic.

Did not know that. Is it all plastic?

And here are some pics of the poorly door.

That looks expensive
Haven't found out yet.

Still going through the rigmarole of insurance.

The woman that did it just drove off - despite several witnesses trying to stop her.

So police were notified, CCTV footage gathered. etc.
I hope they charge her with failing to stop :)
Currently in for repairs now.

Thankfully there were several witnesses and CCTV, so she's now admitted fault.

Have a BMW X6 4.0D as a courtesy car. Was expecting a Vauxhall Corsa.

Ok - so both achievable, and both done quite easily.

The KM/h readout proved to not be that useful in practice as you can't have the numerical display and the Sat Nav instructions on at the same time. But it's good to know it's do-able, even if, for the most part, I could just see it when I was setting cruise.

Don't you use Audi Ensurance? It's free (for 3 years) and you always get an Audi regardless of who you insure with.
