Hi,
Just looking for some advice on my 2010 2.0TDI Q5.
Done 80K Miles.
Engine management light came on so I plugged it in on Friday and came up with 2 fault codes both saying DPF sensor, so I filled the tank up and it went off and then came back on.
So I took some advice from a few friends and took it on a 30 minute motorway journey and kept it at about 4000 revs and the light still remains on?

Any advice please? all appreciated!

Not being smart here, but this was the reason I went petrol because of my low milage per year. Until diesel gets rid of this cleaning process then unleaded will be my first choice.

I got rid of my Diesel BMW for the same reason, my commute is only 15 mins each way so it didn't reach the conditions needed for a regen and eventually had the dreaded DPF light on the dash.

I followed every guide around and spent an age driving up and down the M54 aimlessly hoping to induce a regen to no avail.

There's YouTube videos of guys cleaning their DPF via a jet wash up the exhaust pipe bit I didn't fancy that much!
