I would like to know if anyone out there has an Audi Q5 2TDI 143 BHP and could tell how they find it as I am not sure if the 168 BHP would be better to go for. Or if anyone has had both maybe they could advise me. Thanks

Hello,

I guess your post may be in the wrong section and hence why it hasn't got many views or posts.

Anyhow, I own the 143bhp version and fine it fine for what we need. Not overpowered, but with enough to get you out of trouble when you need it. Its not too slow or sluggish.
We also both test drove the 170hp one and found little difference between the two, some may see a change but as neither of us drive foot to floor everywhere it made sense to have the lower powered one and save the money.

Thanks Barry,
I got my new Q5 last Monday , Love it, really nippy and as you say , cant notice the difference. Smooth really comfortable.
Just a matter of getting used to all the controls and a SD card for my music, I would also like a mobile connected . Have been advised the dealers charge a lot for this.
Thanks again .

Glad you like the q5, as for the sd card I hear you can go up to 32gb but some people have experienced errors at this capacity. At 16gb I think you should be fairly safe, you can pick them up from amazon or play fairly cheaply. If you want a smaller one (4gb) sometimes morrisons do sandisk ones for less than a fiver if you don't want to wait for postage.

With the phone, from the sounds of the other posts if you didn't specify it, it sounds an expensive job to put in. Fortunately we specified the Bluetooth connection, but for the prices quoted for dealer installs I'd probably just make do with a visor clip Bluetooth speaker instead.

I got a quote from audi in bury st edmunds for £300 for bluetooth (low)- original factory equipment fitted to the AMI module that exists in the SE. You have to have the multifunction steering wheel which comes as standard in the SE.
