i have had 3 replacement speaker grills (the one in the middle of the dashboard) and it still is not flush on the dashboard, anyone else have this problem, it looks like it is warped...rather irritating to be honest

So have you tried a grille from another car that you know to look okay or one of these new grilles in another car? I'm thinking the dash top might be deformed. The dealer you are getting the grilles from should accommodate you.

Unfortunately I had the same problem, noticed the warped speaker cover the day I took my Q5 home for the first time.
Dealer ordered repacement part straight away. New cover fitted looked great until the sun shone and the grill warped again even worse than the original. Second cover has been fitted it's not brilliant but ok. I have looked at other Q5's just out of interest and they have all been OK
