Finally ordered today, I posted in a discounts thread what is on the spec, but i'm excited now i've finally decided after having originally looked at changing to an A4 avant then an A6 before settling on a Q5 S line 2.0 l tdi manual, so I'm going to repeat myself -

Monza silver (don't know what thats gonna look like, I haven't seen any on the net or at dealers in that colour)
Storage and lighting pack
Climate control (following Mikes advice, thanks, I just thought the 3 zone did away with the back seats vent)
Hill hold,Phone Prep Low, Heated seats, Parking plus, AMI, Rear bench plus and privacy glass.

My sales man says he's going to email once a week, so hopefully he'll be true to his word, I don't think I can wait until the middle of April - which is his estimate, hopefully he'll give me a firm date in the next week or two.

Nice spec, have seen Monza Silver on an A4 avant and it looks great ( silver with a hint of blue ) you won't see many around because it is an S-line colour only.
If you have only just ordered I don't think you will see it in April unless your dealer has a car already in the pipeline which he can amend, I have seen Audi dealer bulletin which gives build weeks and there is some hold up on wheels. If you want 20" multi spoke then build week is 11, 7 twin spoke is week 14 build and standard 19" wheels are not until week 19 - first week in May, then 4 weeks to your dealer so you should see it beginning on June. Sorry to disapoint you. I know because that is when I am having to wait till week 19 for my 2.0 Tdi S-line S-tronic. I also have not been able to drive an S-tronic but I think it will be like any other Auto but faster gear shifts. Have you driven a manual, any problem with clutch/footrest ?? I have size 10 feet and I did catch the rest with the side of my foot, very annoying !!

Thanks Simon, that was one of the reasons I went with Monza, because it's S line only. My dealership has sold nearly all SE Q5s and only one other S line at the moment, so it'll be nice to not be one of the crowd! Interestingly all the orders I saw were very basic spec, no one adding 3 zone climate or even bluetooth.
Disappointed to hear that I'll have to wait until June, I'm driving my mums 12yr old clio at the moment so it'll make the Q5 experience even sweeter when it comes!
I'm shoe size 91/2 and didn't notice a thing, but you have me worried now!

Had a call from my dealer last week - was on holiday so kept it brief - confirmed delivery 1st week of March - handover day to be confirmed - SE tdi, not too many options (lava grey, 10 spoke 19' alloys, sports leather, i-pod adaptor... that's about it) - that's from an order placed 23rd December.

Spoke to my dealer today, and he says my car will be ready either last week of March or beginning of April at the latest

The dealership must have put my spec into one of the stock Q5s they had on order (i think they had a 5 or 6 on order from the sheet he showed me when i was ordering my own), either that or they aren't too busy in Ingolstadt at the moment! I was expecting end of April beginning of May, but to have it for the Easter hols will be great!
