I've previously hard wired in a dash cam to my Q3, which was a relatively straight forward task, however, looking at my UK model '22 plate Q5 the game appears to have moved on significantly.
Please can someone offer or share some advice on the best way to hard wire a Dash Cam into this vehicle?
My current thinking:
I'm thinking of picking up a switched live from the passenger footwell fuse box (UK model) and using a fuse tap to pull the feed off.
Can any one suggest the best switched live circuit to tap in to?
Also, please could you suggest the best place to secure a good earth connection?
And finally, will any of this involve trim panel removal etc?
