I have an SQ5 with 20" rims and Goodyear Excellence 255/45 R20W tyres...

The pressure label on my door post looks like this:

So, what's the correct pressure for a normal 2 person load?

The way I read the label, it looks like 38 all round... but that seems incredibly high...

What pressure are others using?

Does seem high, but you are reading it right.

I have 21s and go 34 all round for the sake of ease.

OK. I haven't put 38 in car tyres in living memory.. and clearly whoever prepped my car was in the same mindset. When I checked this morning, all 4 had around 32 in them (a one-size fits all pressure).

Anyway, I pumped them up to 38, and I have to say the car feels better - steering is more precise, and the ride feels less susceptible to low frequency bumps.

So......... 38 it is.

Must be a slow day in moderator-land.... the General Discussion forum is apparently for.. "The main forum for all AUDI Q5 related chat. Ask a question, give advice, whatever you feel like"
