Hi All,

Well I went ahead and ordered today

But as for colour would like some tips and hopefully pics

Thinking either Lava Grey; Daytona Grey or the Black thing

Anyone got any real world pics or even press pics as the configurator doesnt really show it

In my order of preference:
1) Black - No contest with any other colour really but watch those swirls
2) Lava - Most interesting colour of all which changes between many colours (light purple/deep grey/etc.) depending on light/angle
3) Deep Sea - More interesting than black - Changes mainly between dark blue and black, would still worry about swirls
4) Daytona - Least interesting or impressive, looks like a dull grey on dull days and a bit better on sunny days but not a patch on the 3 above
Having said that I still chose numero quatro for fear of swirls and purple cast

It's Ibis White for me, had black cars/4x4's before and they look clean after a good session detailing and then you drive it down the road and it looks crap again. If you love seeing scratches and swirl marks when the sun shines then this is the best colour!

Anyone who went to the Audi stand at Goodwood will notice all the cars were ibis White!

Grey is always good. Looks clean even when dirty. Hence why I chose Daytona.

Didn't see Lava in the flesh.

Impossible to choose from a brochure. So yes we could do with a dedicated page with photos of the options. Who's going to start it

Same with Meteor Grey / Tungten Grey (brochure wise Tungsten Grey looks darkest of the Greys)

Dont know how long I have before the cut off date to choose; the test drive Q5 Special Ed was solid black - very nice but worried about having to clean the thing all the bloody time ;-)

Hi Guys, new to the forum but have been watching for a few weeks, all great stuff. Have ordered a Monza Silver 3.0d. Quite a rare colour choice so hope I'm not missing anything there! Only seen an A6 this colour in the flesh so would be great to see pics (if anyone has one this colour).

Had loads of questions when I ordered in April but this forum has answered most of them!

Agreed !! I got black pearl and what's all this about swirls and scratches - I don't have this. Keep the grit off your sponge !!

Let's face it people - everyone has their favourite colour - all cars get dirty and need to be washed and it would be a boring colourless world if we all drove the same colour. I have seen plenty of dirty white cars, and silver ones, and black ones - all colours in fact. Yes they may have the white ones on the stand at Goodwood but that was probably a batch available for that promotion, it could have been green !!!

Surely it would be the purists who take the car out of the garage wash and polish it, and drive it back in. I bought the car to drive and it because it looks good. If it gets dirty 2 miles down the road then, unfortunately, that's life - it will be washed again next weekend !

only time i got a swirl was when the garage washed it

(after being told not too).Use the 2 bucket wash method and you should never see one

I'm loving this thread..... No one has mentioned Garnet red.
Now, maybe i'm just weird liking this colour, but it's what i chose and I'm very happy with it.
At least it's different and makes the car stand out in a crowd
