I am a bit disappointed in the quality of the chrome used around the radiator grill on my S-Line,

when polishing the car I have noticed two or three chips in the chrome due to flying stones from other road users, this would not have happened if Audi had used chrome metal for the grill instead of chromed plastic, after all it's a main feature in the car.
Considering the cost of the car I would have thought Audi should have used a metal chrome surround.
Have you checked yours?

Hey Bill

I have exactly the same, 2 large chips/dents, after only 2 weeks and a 1000 miles. very disappointed as I've either been very unlucky with where stones have hit or the quality of the grill is not up to the standard of my A4 and two TTs with a combined 7 years and 70 000 miles!!

Has it deteriorated more or have you found a good fix?
