Car arrived yesterday, delivered to the house by Audi who went over all the controls etc. The only thing they couldn't do was pair my XDA mobile to the bluetooth. After some time on the net I found the answer was to connect as a headset and not hands free. As its black the first thing I did was apply some meguires canuba wax to protect the paint and give a really mirror shine. It really does drive and handle well. My last was was a Lexus IS250 and this Q5 rolls less in corners! The 2.0 TDI suits the car well and feels very quick when you push on. Its the S-line spec and the suspension is perfect, definately not too harsh as in some reviews I've read. Been out today and done 50 miles mixed motorway and A roads with some town driving. The trip computer reads 41MPG, so I'm happy about that and not driving light-footed! I've changed some of the default settings on the MMI. The parking sensor noise was too loud so that soon got changed. I changed the auto lights on sensitivity to the longest setting as it was putting the headlights on driving under trees and it hides those wonderful looking running LED's. I've changed the Coming home and going out lights to stay on longer and at night it looks fantastic when you walk away from the car with the LED's and front fogs on! The standard music system is superb and glad i did'nt spec the B&O system. Just going to load all my music into the jukebox from a SD card later today. The MMI is really easy to use once you get used it. And the navigation is very clear to see especially with the mini display in the console right in front of you as well. I thought that Audi had made a mistake and put a collapsible spare in the back instead ot the repair fluid but it turned out to be the subwoofer! Sure i'll be swapping advice with you all in the future.
