Can the Q5 fit 3 child seats

30212 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  familyof5
We have recently become a family of 5, with three children under the age of 7. My Smax has now had it's day and I'm looking for something that has a bit more personality and style to it.

Is anybody aware of whether it is possible to fit three child seats (2 boosters and one maxi cosi) in a Q5?

I really don't want another MPV and am loathe to buy a landrover..

All opinions and advice gratefully recieved.

We run two child seats in ours (one to suit a 3 - 5 yr old and one to suit a 5 - 8 year old) and there is not much room left in the middle. My wife can just squeeze in between them for short journies when we have a fifth passenger but it's a very tight squeeze. I think if we had to fit 3 seats across, we would have gone for something a bit wider. With just the two kids seats the Q5 suits us nicely.

What you should do to confirm for yourself is go along to your dealer with child seats in hand and try it out. I'm sure the dealer won't mind and you are much better off getting the definitive answer for yourself.
