Can anyone tell me how long from build to me driving away in shiny new Q5. Apparently mine was built this week and need to know how long to expect before can have it as have quite a tasty offer on the car I was planning to p/x but they want it before 11 June.

All dealer can tell me is 'around the end of June' but surely they must know how long it takes to get a car from factory to dealer ?

i was told from build week to delivery 2 weeks(depending on weather for the crossing) but that sounds a little quick.

My time from build to delivery has been just under 4 weeks. Collect my Special Edition Q5 this Sunday - it's been a long 6 months from the time of order but saw the 'Special One' yesterday and it's all been worth it!

We were told car was build week 20(last week), and we got a card from the dealers today saying car is there and will be ready to collect in a few days.

So from build to delivery, we've been approximately a week.

We should collect it Wed/Thurs

I think the build date they told you was incorrect - 1 week from build to delivery never happens - 2 weeks is normally absolute best case - normally 2-4 weeks (shipping to UK, delivery to dealer, PDI etc)

All this build week stuff confuses me lol

According to my Outlook calendar week 20 was the week before last which would mean two weeks from build - does that make more sense?
