Hi all, Has anyone had a build date for an S-Line Q5 yet?
Nothing showing apparently on my order (3rd Oct) and according to the original blurb they were going to start building around this week.

Build date for my 3.0LT TDI sline is week 50 confirmed by dealer delivery date early Jan

The dealer has a 2.0TFSI in the showroom but apparently they are not allowed to drive those yet

It was a 2.0D manual so no 2.0TSFI's in sight.
PS The 3.0D was out so I drove the 2.0D manual. Will write a report later but I was very impressed

Hi Andy,

Should be nice to read your report. I have always driven manuals and never had a auto. but the S Tronic was great on the 3.0TDI and I've always thought BIG CAR has to be auto and I'm fed up chaning gears !! I really want to know what it was like driving the Q5 in a manual ??

have a 2lt tdi sline on order from specialist cars audi aberdeen, have been told delivery is mid january

had a test drive on saturday all i can say is SUPERB

I am told by dealer that my Q5 2.0 TFSI S Line ordered 2 Oct has build week 22 Dec with delivery mid Jan 09.

Hi Sam,
It would be really useful to know when they told you this date and what dealer you ordered through (if indeed you are in the UK?). I was told by Audi UK yesterday that S-Lines won't start being built until end Jan beginning of Feb.
Don't necessarily believe them as they are probably trying to get me off their back as I hit the roof as my build date for my 2.0TFSI S-Line ordered 2nd Oct is currently confirmed for early Feb, so early March delivery - not happy

Thanks Tim, it's good to have this info as it was Audi UK who gave me the info and not the dealer. More discussions with them tomorrow!

Been in touch with my dealer (UK) and still on track for mid Jan delivery. Apparently some early orders got through before Audi had to pull S Line due to a parts shortage but they are now back on availability with build recommecing in Feb 09. Hope this helps.

mine is on order delivery feb 09, interesting my dealer offered to sell me the demo car, SE with Xenons, tempted but had far too many extras on it
