I need a straw poll for all people who have Q5's

did you get a boot tray with your car?

I am rowing with the garage as Audi UK said that at first it was with the storage pack, my garage stated I had got that, then they said it was a ?60 option and was in the brochure, it is not and also is not on the website, all rather annoying...on a plus point I got the chrome tips fitted on friday and managed to get 28 mpg on a motorway run...woo-hoo

Rahoo the website configurator shows a ?60 under floor storage tray option for the boot (this is a new addition, I think).

edit: the old brochure (dec 08) described it as a loadliner (code 6SN) the updated brochure for Mar 08 describes it as -
6SN Under floor storage tray in boot ? size will differ depending on trim/options cost ?60. So I think it is an optional extra.

As you already know I have the boot tray and I didn't order it as an option. The only option I ordered in that area was the reversable mat for the boot.
Rahoo - how exciting 28mpg

Mine is increasing very slowly but not to those dizzy heights ;-) I have only done 600 miles though.
How many miles have you done now?

You're lucky Andy, I didn't realise the boot tray was an option and Audi UK have recently just changed the wording in the spec. I phoned my dealer this morning and he tells me that the tray is an extra option, apparently it's not available as an accessory, but he was going to check for me. But I'm not holding my breath!

- (really cross I didn't pick up on this when I was placing my order, but the brochure described the tray as a loadliner, which I thought was one of those rubber trays for the top floor of the boot)

only driven 300 miles in it, as I only had 14k on the Q7 in almost 2.5 years, don't suspect I'll hit 1k for a long while !
