I have ordered my Q5 without the "boot luggage option" (not sure of the exact option, but entails some sliding bars in the back of the car?).

Could any owner tell me - Does the standard car have the floor mounted D rings (4 off) to allow contents to be tied down, as I have in my current A3?

Never thoought to check when I ordered, but I need them to attach the dog to, to stop him bolting out once the tailgate is opened !

Yes the D rings are standard. If you don't need the storage below the boot floor I also suggest the rubber boot liner (from audi accessory range). It has the cutouts for the rings so you can use them and will preserve your boot floor carpet from dirt, scratches and even spills as it has a lip all the way round.

Thanks - I have ordered a reversible boot mat with a flap to protect the bumper, so hopefully that is the same article?

No it's not the same although without having seen one I don't know which is better. For pets audi lists what you have ordered. I don't think this covers the sides of the boot though. I have the boot liner and there is also a third option. A cargo tray with very high sides. You can't use the rings with the last option. The boot liner I have is too slippery for pets, but I don't have any so it wasn't a problem.
