Folks

After much messing about I got a fully functioning and compatible phone system installed post delivery. It is a Fiscon Basic Plus kit for can bus wired Audi Q5s. The web site is http://www.fiscon-mobile.eu/

It delivers full functionality with the car and required about 20 minutes re coding the car to the phone. Fully displays on the MMI and the DIS via the MFSW and the sound and user functionality is great.

The system works perfectly.

The Bluetooth kit was installed by Parkmyauto who were first class and very helpful. They were new to the system but are very keen to develop the product. They are a very experienced company in the phone and audio visual market for cars. Russell McIntyre is your contact on 0131 555 7040. There web site is www.parkmyauto.co.uk/

And the car, radio and Bluetooth kit were recoded by

The contacts are Stephen Wheeler and David Quinn on 0131 448 0006. They are both ex VW/Audi/Seat trained and have all the kit to recode. They were first class and to be honest they did my recode for nothing. They too are very keen to get involved in this aspect of phone installation.

I would not hesitate in suggesting both companies can deliver a Q5 solution re car phones and Bluetooth.

And before you ask I am getting nothing for the plug. I have spent about a month researching the market and in Scotland these are the best I could get who could do want I wanted.

What was the total cost of the kit and the install, sadly i fear it will be much more than the ?245 genuine audi factory fit one.
Cost was about ?330. It was a lesson as all my other premium cars have bluetooth fitted so I thought I would just bolt my nokia kit into car. I was wrong post delivery audi wanted circa ?1000 to retro install.

The quality is great and i would say go for it if you have no bluetooth module fitted at factory
