About to order a Q5 (3.0tdi + about 5-6k extras), i have asked 2 dealers what the new Mobile telephone prep - bluetooth interface (9ZX) option is and if it integrates into the MMI so i can make/receive calls via wheel and view contacts through the MMI, both said they are not sure as it's a new option, they know the LOW (PT5) does. Also does it allow voice activation.
Anyone who has ordered this option please let me know it's functions, thanks.

Regarding discounts, i'm in chehsire / Manchester so there's Stockport/Warrington/Manchester to go head to head. Anyone recently placed an order and what should i be aiming at. 8%-12% and is there other options available that people have got like extened warranty / 3M guard / Free servicing...

Should i be asking for 2010 spec (delivery quoted around November 12-14 weeks)

I got 10% from Audi Stockport after all the options added so 10% off them as well. Same as you with the phone, the dealer at the time did'nt know about the new bluetooth spec so i went for the low prep. Ordered mine in June and due for delivery in next 2 weeks.

You will get the 2010 spec anyway, mine was when ordered in June.

So far quoted 10% at Stockport, broadspeed online 10.77%, so i'll lookinto haggling just a bit more try 11% and maybe 2 year extension on warranty i have manchester and warrington to talk too as well.

Bluetooth..pain they don't know..probbaly need to ring up audi tech support.....Anyone else actually got a Q5 with the Bluetooth (?240) option?

What is your question for the bluetooth? I test drove one with just the standard ?245 bluetooth and it worked brilliantly...Fully integrated with the controls, reads the iPhone address book etc....

Hi Markc... as dejongj says, the mobile phone low option works brilliantly. I have an eseries nokia, the phonebook syncs perfectly, can be controlled via the wheel and can be voice controlled.

I charge mine in the centre console with a standard nokia charger. It will do all the functions that you have detailed in your original post. Hope this helps.

Thanks for replies guys, It was not the LOW option i was reffering too it was the option 'Even lower'!!! just bluetooth preperation at ?240 rather than LOW at ?440. Buut after a bit of research I think it all integrates into the MMI but you just do not get an external aerial or the possibility of an external cradle for charging.

Good luck! Yes indeed no aerial (as it need to connect to the phone and the phone is not connected via wires in the car) and no cradle....Which to me is not needed, don't know about yourself, but my wife's phone is in her handbag and my phone is in my briefcase...So bluetooth is just fine....

Don't forget to ask for discounts when you are ordering....

Went for the cheap bluetooth option which should be fine for me / wife.

Just sorting out extended warranty to 5 years and tracker now.

What dealer did you go for?

I went in yesterday to sort out my cherished plate and mine had just been delivered! Just waiting for the PDI, should be able to collect next week.

Well done! That us a decent discount, my local dealer (Watford) is stuck at 9% after I had the sales person go up to 11% but the head of business is not budging which is a nuisance and waste of my time. My list can to ?43325 so sounds like a very similar spec. Hope you enjoy it!
