I agree with the above. Each rolling road will give slighty different results.

And yes, I got it remapped, not from MRC, but a friend who runs a A6 Bitdi. Estimates around 380ish & 800nm. He was running 360 & 760 proven on the rollers, but after further tweeks, its around 380/ 800 now. I went for the flash via the OBD.

Yes, no worries. £750 inc a run on the rollers. Not an off the shelf map, a bespoke map for my actual car.Going to MRC

Hi All,

After a little over a week. I have my car booked in for a remap.

It goes in Jan 21st. Estimates around 380 bhp & 800 nm.

The car is not slow. But coming from a Golf R with a stage 1 Revo map, it feels a bit flat durring mid range & intial take off.

I think your figures are very low for a stage 2.

I'm sure it's JD engineering in Holland, that are hitting a little over 400 & 850/860 on a stage 1. Will try & find the link.

Stage 2 they are pushing well over 400 900.

Yes, indeed . Last 3 fill ups 30.2 32.7 & 33.5. I guess this will improve, once I hit a few more miles and warmer weather. Currently sitting at 3500 miles.

The Q5 is not a Golf Cart, its a lot heavier - what did you expect?! You are going to munch through tyres

Agree on both counts

The engine, looks & driving postion is what sold it for me.

Having a remapped SQ5 with better mpg,more shove of toque & hitting 60 in under 5 secs. Has a big appeal.

Can't seem to find any rolling road print outs.

Ian, I remember you mentioned 400PS. Which is what I would be hoping from a stage 1. Do you have a link & what was the increase in torque?

All are detectable. It just depends if they go looking.

If you happen to have obvious mods to the car they may go looking and flag it as TD1.

I was hoping around 400 ps & 750/800nm. And proven rolling road figures. Not fantasy figures with no data to back up the claims.

I'm guessing the midrange shove is were they can tweek the current settings with zero issues.

I have put a few enquires out there...

Basically save your cash as this engine almost at it's safe limits 340ps & 700nm.

I too, wonder what else is different. I hear the fuel pressure is increased on the plus, which is bonkers when you consider how high the fuel pressure on a common rail diesel is.

I'm guessing the same, but a tweeked map.
