Hi guys,
I bought two adapters attached below for my Audi Q5 but none of them is working.
I tried different phones with different OS to connect like Android, MP3 player, iOS.
Devices are being charged but not able to use them to play music or even connect.
The car computer is not finding them as a music source.

Is there any way how to use it or anything else to buy to connect my phone to play music?

My iPhone connects via bluetooth.

Just make sure the unit is compatible with your model year and mmi.

Welcome. I use bluetooth from my phone (after all this is how the hands free phone calling works), plus I have an early ipod (I think 4th gen.), with the correct cable (there are two types).

Thanks, guys, I just do not want to spend 500AUD for that if there is any solution to buying a cable. Have to sort it out.

I’ve got a 30 pin to lightning adapter cable on mine, just set phone to music & iPhone appears as an MMI device select & music plays.
