Great Service from Aberdeen Audi. My car failed it's MOT, broken rear spring. They have ordered a new part which is due on Tuesday and I get to keep the loan car until mine is repaired.

Supply and fit £319.64 including VAT. As a valued customer, I have negotiated a discount :) The A5 loan car for 5 days @ £15 is an amazing bargain.

I doubt you will find cheaper at any independent and Abz Audi price match.

Hi Missile, that broken spring looks in surprisingly good condition assuming it’s original?

If it were my car I would get both springs changed, I had one break on my A6, l asked them to change both whilst they were at it, found the other side was cracked and about to fail.

Hi TGR, Yes it is original. Good call about changing both. I shall sleep on it.

I had no idea the spring was broken.

Hi Missile, same here with the A6, the only clue I had was I thought my head lights had gone out of alignment. The break was found during th MOT.

Never heard of broken springs on a road car in years gone by. It seems to be more common now.

I decided to just replace one.
