Hi

Lately, my Q5 has been hesitant and sluggish when accelerating. This happens in every gear and when it happens the car shakes and jerks for some seconds until it gets to 2000rpms. Also when it's warm and idling it has some vibrations that are stronger than the others. The MAP and MAF sensors have been replaced but nothing has changed.

Are these signs of a failing/faulty EGR valve or something else?

Are any faults recorded in the ecu memory?

Why did you replace sensors? What year? How many miles? Do you use cheapest fuel?
Your symptoms are typical of EGR valve being fouled and flat sticking.
As Richard suggested, use Carista to identify fault code.
EGR valve can be cleaned or replaced.

Nope, no faults come up when scanning with VCDS.

The sensors have recently been replaced 500km ago and I use the normal diesel you fill at the gas station.

Could be injectors. Could be fuel pump or clogged fuel filter.
