Anyone have these or driven with them? Any thoughts as to whether they would be any different to ride on compared to any other 20" wheels?

My spec has to be finalised soon and whilst I'm leaning toward the S Line for the 19" rims for "better" comfort, the extras I'm speccing means the Plus actually comes out ÂŁ100 cheaper! Only trouble is I can't stand the standard 20" rims (sorry!) and so it would have to be these as they're a no cost option on the Plus

Not had the chance to test drive on 20's though and I'd hate to spend that much money only to find the ride too harsh. Also, not got any extra wonger left for Drive Select which might help justify the move up to 20's

OK this is how it works.

AUK (or the local country) are given end to end list of everything possible in terms of ordering from the factory.
AUK configure/spec the models/packages and options to meet the needs and price of the local markets, be that what wheel style is on the car, the paint options or that it gets 3 zone climate control.

Nothing to do with production simplicity, its about controlling the local market as well as the main reason - put as much as possible on the options list to generate cash while having a low RRP. Have you seen the spec of the SQ5 - its a joke

I run on 19" wheels with the full ADS package and the car is comfortable and handles very well. 19" wheels are generally easier to clean because of less spokes to collect the brake carbon.
They also don't catch the kerbs as easily. I've had 20" wheels before and they are very easy to damage and costly to keep in good condition.
A small bonus if you're not using winter rubber is that a narrower profile is generally better in snow and a higher tyre side wall wards off snow hidden kerb stones.

Hi,
Have recently ordered S Line + for March 13 delivery. Notice though that revised brochure for Q5 (October 12) only gives you a choice of 20'' Titanium Optic wheels or 20'' with off-road package the standard wheel being the same as the Titanium Optic but in an alloy finish. Before this you could have opted for another polished 20'' alloy for the Plus model and paid the extra. Seems Audi want the S Line + to be even more exclusive. Also as stated in previous posts the satnav with + is the 3D HDD version as standard not the DVD based at no extra cost. Good or what?

Interesting posts, in that I am in the same position as Stranexuk in that I have ordered PQ7 wheels which are probably the best looking wheels around, but want better comfort and easy cleaning wheels. Any more views on what I should do.

Hi coventry I full agree I did my wheels with this 2 weeks ago probably used way too much as it took me 3 hrs to do all 4 and I used the majority of the 100 ml 40 pound bottles !! But to be fair well worth the money I've never put anything better on my alloys in twenty five years , no matter how much crap the collect after one jet wash they come back as new without any work needed , first class product without a doubt
