Hi All,
Just come across this Auto Express review of the 2.0T Petrol which came out really well.
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews/firstdrives/226215/audi_q5_20t_s_t_ronic.html

Two things that come out of it, is the ?31,440 price tag for that model with the S Tronic box and also is says on sale in Jan!

I'm hoping the date is wrong as I thought we might see it before Christmas.
Has anyone got some more updated timescales from dealers?

Cheers

Hi Andy,

Yes not sure about the Jan date. Most indications point to Sep prcing with dealers having cars October/Novemeber. I would think once pricing is released you could order very shortly afterwards and assuming max factory order 12 weeks have the vehicle in 08? However a lot of assumptions along the way, especially whether prices are out early Sep or at the end, another month potentially gone. I am resigned now to waiting for a Mar 09 I could order that comfortably in late December in plenty of time.

Hello All.

I have just finished speaking with Audi Docklands (London) and it s pretty much the same, pricing around sept/oct.
You can put down a ?1000 deposit to secure prompt delivery when ordering gets underway. I have been advised that the car may be @ the Frankfurt motor show in Sept 08 (Audi UK are going to confirm to my dealer).
Audi Docklands also state the car will be availiable to test drive at their branch in Oct 08.

Hope this helps
Metin.

Thanks for your replies everyone.
October for a test drive sounds promising.
After posting I wondered whether Audi were going to stagger the launch so the diesels were first and then the petrol model.

I've had my ?1000 deposit down for some time now so really hoping for an early September order and December delivery
