I'm hearing you can order this config from end of November 08 / Early December 08.
Anyone heard or know different ?...this is the combo I'm waiting for.

Also hearing S-Line not being delivered till June 09...thats S-line with exterior kit + 2.0 ltr TDI S-Tronic

still as above here in France. Available to order Nov 08 / Dec 08 I'm reading on local forums.
I'm going to ask at the motor show next week but I don't expect a satisfactory response

but I'm sure she will be a pretty girl

" As to the availability of the 2.0TDI S-Tronic, as far as I am aware Audi have no current plans to introduce this model but I will make further enquires to confirm that. "

Economics I would think, new model high demand limited options to simplify production schedules, as sales and interest drops bring in the variants and options to keep interest and sales up.

We will get 3.2 petrol V6 next year and base spec.cars below the SE models, my dealer thinks there will be a 2.7 V6 diesel and a 140bhp 2.0 Tdi model towards the end of the year.

Thanks Tractorboy, I will tell my dealer and keep pestering him, he is going to the U.K. dealer launch 16/17 November in Spain and promised to question tech. boys there for info.

I think it's next week they are all off on their p*ss up to Spain for the launch rather than Nov. Mine is off next Wednesday I think.

I came across an internal PDF doc from the Swiss Audi Dealer network. It showed the new models and launch dates. First time I'd seen it in "offical" writing. I'll try to post a copy but here is a brief translation

Do You know when it could be preordered? I'm from Italy and here Q5 is available to order from the beginning of september. Prices are similar to french prices.

Speak to your dealer I suppose....but most are denying that these models will even exist. They want to sell the models that are available now. Take the model code (don't know if its the same code for LHD & RHD) and just keep annoying them until you find one that wants your order.

In your country there are discounts? In Italy, for example, the invalid (down) people can buy the AUDI A4 with 11,5% of discount. In your country these discounts exist?
