Well after a very long wait I finally picked it up today.
First impressions are very positive, build quality superb, Going to take a while to learn all the MMI system, ride is firm but I like that and feels better than the BMW X5 sport I had before, S-tronic gear box is smooth and almost imperceptable other than a very slight feeling when coming to a stop and it selects 1st again.
Hill hold assist brilliant and so simple to use, Panoramic roof is brilliant.
Looking forward to putting some miles on this weekend.

Really nice simon, the S line trim looks so good on the Q5, enjoy your weekend driving. It's raining here in Northern Ireland and I'm itching to get out and wax my Q5! Plus if the sun shines I'll get some pics of mine posted this weekend.

Happy driving!!

Good run round this Weekend and really happy with the way it drives, bags of power for a 2.0l , economy on a trip on the motorway seems great. 80mph was an indicated 2000rpm and 40mpg from the computer. Will see this week how comuting affects the economy.

Well had chance to get a few miles under the wheels. Weekly commute returned 30.3 mpg and this weekend went over to the East coast for Bank holiday, just short of 300 miles of mixed M.way and A roads returned an average of 36.7 mpg.
So impressed with S-tronic gearbox, other than going down into first the only way you know it has changed gear is engine note and rev counter. Motorways a dream, cruised at 80 - 85 easily and with power to spare as only doing 2300 rpm, Boot versatile with split seat, took all our lugage and cage with dogs in. Ride is firm but not uncomfortable, definatly sporty, family happy anyway, no complaints. Did notice some admiring glances from other road users

Thanks simon, it really looks good.

I'm thinking of going for a daytona grey 2.0 tdi sline too, and maybe risking the 20" 7 spoke wheels. Just unsure whether i need to get the full audi drive select to compensate for those big wheels?

Sunroof
Hi could not get on site yesterday to answer you. Yes slight " click " not a rattle from front of roof, however yesterday was warm day and it disapeared so looks like will need slight adjustment, mentioned to dealer who says drop it in and they will do it.
Other than that sunroof is brilliant especially with all black S-line trim, makes interior much lighter.
With regard to wheels, if you go for the 20" wheels I would recommend the suspension Drive select option, if I ordered again I would.
