Firefox and Safari, It just keeps say finding order but then does not progress any further

Hi baron02, try clicking on the order received tab if still active should give you your production start date.

Hi Jules, I did that and it just mentioned it has joined production. I have looked through the build list and there is a few things that I need to query, I meant to have ordered High Beam Assist and Adaptive headlights, But I can't see them on the build list.

If you have those ordered can someone check to see what these items are called? Slightly panicking that the car will be wrong.

@ baron02 - it's (the tracker) not fully up to speed with what you have ordered (as it is still in "Beta"?); mine had several things "missing" but no worry, they were all there when built as spec'd

Thanks Jules, I will give the dealer a ring or a visit, Just to put my mind at rest. I was pretty sure that the dealer emailed me the other week and told me that the build week was week 47. Don't know how long it takes for them to build the car.

No probs baron02, week 47 is this week :) has your dealer given you an approximate delivery date? My build date is week 50, delivery Week commencing 4th Jan.

How longs does it take for it to past Quality control, My Q5 has been on this status since Tuesday, I know that the ferry leaves Emden Port either tonight or tomorrow for arrival at Sheerness docks 23 of November. Hoping it will be on the ferry

I would guess the tracker is a tad out of date, fingers crossed your car is on the ferry, your dealer should know the status.

Thanks Jules, Hope it is on the ferry, Due in sheerness Monday,

I got a another tip for you that I found on another forum about the Audi tracker

This app runs it's rendering code in the browser, so its JavaScript source code is available to view. I've determined that it does get a bit ahead of itself.

It will display 'your audi has left Inglostadt' at status 30 and 38, 'your audi is in the UK' at status 39, and 'on the way to dealer' at 40. We know that 39 actually means on the way to the dock and 40 means it's arrived in the UK, so it's not overly helpful at telling how far along things are.

What is helpful, is that it pulls it's data from a public api. So, once you've logged in, browse to
www.audi.co.uk/myaudi-public-api/services/v1/orders/{order number}(without the braces) and you'll get the JSON data structure that drives the front end.

This will look a mess to most people but look carefully and you'll get your current order status number, VIN (if at status 38) and the history of the dates that your ordered moved between statuses. Mine have all changed at around 0000/0100 so I'm guessing the statuses are updated in a batch job at midnight.

The following Chrome extension will format the JSON to be more readable - https://chrome.googl...hakgolnmc?hl=en

I've noticed the UI shows a sorta-correct listing of what options I've selected, however it's not 100%. What I have noticed is that if you hit the URL that has helpfully provided, at the bottom you can see the list of 'translated options'.

Interestingly, if you cross-reference those codes with the Q5 brochure here
https://www.audi.co.uk/content/dam/audi/production/PDF/PriceAndSpecGuides/q5-sq5.pdf,

this is the most accurate listing of options and matches the options I have chosen exactly.
eg.

  • N2R

  • PQ7

  • WB7

  • WC9

  • WQR

  • 2PK

  • 3S2

  • 4A3

  • 4ZD

  • 6XE

  • 7HB

  • 8N7

  • 8Q5

  • 9VD
Hopefully this helps a little more,

If the online tracker is accurate my car build date has been bought forward by 3 days, body has left the panel shop and is currently in paint.

Mine shows it has left Ingolstadt on the 22 Of November on the back end but it has just been released to the port of Emden. So once it has left the factory it goes to a holding area until it been authorised for release.

From paint shop to assembly, be interesting to know how long it takes to bolt the bits on.
