I don't need your "advice" ...….. Is that blunt enough?

Well you are going to get it! Stop being rude and moderate instead of making excuses. I have never seen such conduct from a moderator.
A lot of people are fed up with the spam. Your approach is not helpful in the least.
Finally (read other posts by members), you may end up moderating an empty forum.

I don't understand Audi's comment. I would suggest they are wrong or perhaps you have misinterpreted?

It matters diddly squat what diameter the rim is. It is the rolling radius which is important. That must be the same irrespective of what diameter rims are fitted. A spare from any Q5 should be suitable for your Q5. Choice is more limited if you had the SQ5. The inflatable spare is a bit of a faff. Some owners have modified their boot so they can carry a full sized rim Posted Image

Absolutely agree! Works for every other manufacturer. The only time a problem arises is where the space saver wheel diameter is too small to fit over brakes.

I answered your question

With the greatest respect, so what, that matters little. Keep pestering/persevering. Be blunt (by PM) if necessary. Does the admin realise that people are getting P1**ed with this? If not point him to this thread.
Ask him to post the reasons why he is not pursuing this problem. We can all listen to his reasoning.

Admin_Steve does not visit often. His last visit was 07.10.19. He may not be aware of the volume of spam or the upset it has caused.

I am only trying to help. Only a suggestion, please don't shoot the messenger.

I am not trying to shoot any messenger. Please read again what I stated:

Why should it be necessary to PM him about a very obvious problem? Surely he must see what is going on and reinstate the verification step.

Once upon a time we did have a simple check where the first post from a new member was verified before a user was allowed to post. Unfortunately this system has been withdrawn …. I was told it took up too much Admin time.
May I suggest you PM Admin Steve with any comments and suggestions you may have to improve our forum.
