When I closed my tailgate yesterday I was surprised to hear quite a lot of water sloshing about inside it - and it hadn't been raining. Anyone else experienced this problem before I contact the dealer?

No I don't have a sunroof. The car is less than 2 years so drilling holes not an option, I expect them to fix it!

From my search. Leaks occur from screen wash hose leak. Incorrectly fitted replacement light unit. Rear screen seal. Rear screen wiper motor seal.
Sun roof drain tube problems lead to water in the boot. My bad I misread your initial post.
