Hi, I just bought a 2011 q5 2.0 se for a very sensible price. It came with cloth seats and very boring interior, no satnav but I sourced a whole interior from an s line q5 inc satnav/ multimedia I know the actual trim stuff will fit but will I need any extra wires to fit the satnav/ multimedia? I’m guessing maybe it will need programming in? Thankyou in advance, any advice appreciated.

Fitting the trim, seats etc is easy. Would be worth investing in a workshop manual via eBay so you can see how the bits are removed and refitted.
Adding a new MMI is a lot more complicated. Audi wiring looms are car specific so have all the wiring needed for that particular car and no more.
You'll probably need wiring looms for the AV kit and a VCDS cable to code the car. Might be easier (and probably cheaper) to fit an Android clone - plenty on eBay.
Hazzydayz in St Albans would be able to give you advice on whats likely to be needed.
