Well you are going to get it! Stop being rude and moderate instead of making excuses. I have never seen such conduct from a moderator.
A lot of people are fed up with the spam. Your approach is not helpful in the least.
Finally (read other posts by members), you may end up moderating an empty forum.

It is a personal choice and optional to be annoyed regarding spam. It exists. I experience it on many sites and manageable by 1. Turning off notifications for new posts. 2. Using the mark as read button, after reading those chosen.
Use sites by choice for free, or don't. Enjoy.

Thanks Richard,

I need a little help from members in support of my requests to Admin to re-instate the check for new members.
I am trying my best to delete the spam. I have banned another 6 this morning. It is quite a time consuming laborious process. I am not looking for sympathy, but I certainly don't need abuse from Old_Geezer.

rapidcool, thank-you for your efforts. I am sure this situation will be resolved given time.
Being angry with spammers or with moderators not doing what YOU want is not necessary.

This is a small select forum where I have learned a lot.

I hope it stays off the radar and the moderator continues with his efforts to weed out spammers and angry key board warriors.

Yep, since @rapidcool resigned as a moderator, the spam is now totally uncontrolled, and it’s apparent that the Administrators have NO interest in stopping this happening, so I’m afraid this forum will die!!

I suggest all members now sign up to this forum, if they haven’t already, and transfer our knowledge there:-
