Hi all. I am ready to change my car for something else, for no reason other than it feels like the right time... I've looked at a wide range of options, from the Supercharged Velar, to an E43 AMG or S6, and now considering an S4 Avant. I could probably get away with a saloon these days but, having owned a 2.0T avant some years ago and I really liked it, it feels like the avant still provides the flexible family option. Plus, A4 avants are a nice looking estate!
So, has anyone got or even driven the newest S4 preferably avant? I have a test drive next time home which I am looking forward to. My biggest worry is that I think I might hate the big daft ipad screen thingy. Maybe it will grow on me....
Any opinions greatly appreciated, in particular how it feels compared to the awesome BiTdi in the SQ.
Sepang SQ5, 2015. 21" wheels, B&O, folding mirrors, privacy, heated/electric front seats, power tailgate, flat wheel, bench rear seat. Loving it

No plans to get rid of my SQ5 Plus yet ;-).

But I really think I will stay with the Audi brand. Unless the new SQ5 is a diesel lump I wont be buying a SQ5 again.

As Mrs Rappy knows I never have the same car twice lol!!.

Depending on finances RS6 or RS7. But as we have a load lugger already, I may down size to a RS3 or TT RS

Ref the tablet style screens, I hate the look, but appreciate the practicality

I think an S4 Avant is a great looking car!!

Rappy :-)

Not driven the new S4 but it's a very nice looking car. Some who've moved from the supercharged to the current turbo are complaining of very poor throttle response when moving off from standstill. Maybe something to look out for on the test drive?

Really dislike the shape of the Jag, plus I have some oncerns over build quality and reliability. All about personal choice I know. I was close to going for the Macan Turbo but have decided against it, I think....

Yeah I know what you mean about the shape but have you seen the Hamann rear end kit for it.

Look great, but would not spend my hard earned cash on a JLR product
