Funny... 900€ for chip tuning seems pricey, but 1750€ for stage 3 seems a good deal...

My Dutch is a bit rusty but I think that's the price for software only, intercooler, filter, fitting not included.

You may well be correct as it mentions €4000 elsewhere

You have to ask why.... SQ is not really a car that adds fun or rewards as you drive faster.

It's just a school run car that has enough power for motorway over taking but its never going to be a fun fast drive.

HNY to all. :-P

I think you enjoy fast/sporty cars in different ways, so I'm going to disagree....

I love driving the sq5 on a fast A road or mainland Europe motorway - particularly pressing on, and particularly on the autobahn.

I'm lucky enough to also have my Boxster S, which is fantastic on windy lanes and B roads

May I ask where you got the work done?

I take it the difference is noticeable.

Thanks

Vs piss poor actuals ;-). Joking aside.

Just to give you a bit of history. My remap is actually from a guy that runs a bitdi lump. Not a run on the rollers for a few hrs. So, yes I believe what he says. This is my 2nd remap from him. And again the same logic. A car he actually owns. We are talking months of R&D on the road tweeking inc rolling roads.

Last time on the rollers, it was pushing close to 370 & 760. Since then there has been further tweeks. 380 & 800. (The remap mine is currently running).JD are pushing close to 400 & over 800. So yes it is achievable.

Stage 2 should see 400 plus and 820. Your figures are very low.

All the best,

Rappy.

I'm a fan of mapping but must admit I think the performance of the standard is pretty good ( now wrong side of 50 mind you ), interested to know if you notice much difference on the road?
